So much of the boating these days among VPC members is organized (and executed) hastily. Using the ChatBot (lower left on your screen) and/or Community Forum is a great way to connect with like-minded boaters - on the fly. As I say in the foreward to "Let It Rain":

Hastily does not mean carelessly. Follow common sense and stay ashore when conditions on a given day exceed your comfort level. Read, know, and follow the Safety Code of American Whitewater.
